Terms of Service

Effective 2026-08-04

forget is local-first memory software for AI tools, published at forget.sh. forget cloud ("the service") is an optional subscription that performs deep-recall computation on hosted models for the forget software. By subscribing, you agree to these terms.

The service

forget cloud Pro provides up to 2,000 deep-recall requests per month over an account token. Requests beyond the cap are declined until the next billing period; the forget software then falls back to local search. We may change the underlying model to whichever our benchmark certifies as best; capability may improve over time.

Purchases

Payments are processed by Paddle.com, our merchant of record. Your purchase is subject to Paddle's checkout terms; billing, invoices, and refunds are executed through Paddle.

Your token

The account token is your credential. Keep it private; anyone holding it can spend your quota. Tokens can be rotated at any time from your receipt's activation link.

Acceptable use

Do not use the service to violate law, to probe or disrupt the service, or to resell relay access. We may suspend tokens engaged in abuse.

Warranty & liability

The service is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability is limited to the amounts you paid in the three months before the claim. The free, local forget software is licensed separately under its open-source license.

Changes

We may update these terms; material changes will be noted on this page with a new effective date. Questions: hello@forget.sh.
